Privacy policy
Effective October 22, 2026. This policy covers the timotty.com website and the apps published by Timotty Two LLC.
The short version
We collect as little as we can. This website has no accounts, no cookies and no third-party analytics. Our apps ask for data only when a feature needs it, keep it on your device where possible, and never sell it.
This website
timotty.com is a static site. We do not set cookies, run analytics scripts or embed tracking pixels. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations; those logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply and follow up. We do not add your address to any mailing list.
Our apps
Each app we publish describes its own data practices in its App Store listing and inside the app. In general:
- Device permissions. An app asks for a permission such as the microphone, camera or notifications only at the moment a feature needs it, and explains why. You can withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings.
- On-device first. Where a feature can work without sending data off your device, it does. Speech used to follow along with a story, for example, is processed on the device and is not recorded or uploaded.
- Accounts. If an app offers an account, we store the email address and the data you create in the app so it can sync between your devices. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app or by emailing us.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple. We receive a confirmation of the purchase but never your card details.
- Crash reports. Some apps send anonymous crash reports so we can fix bugs. These contain technical information about the error and the device, not your content.
Children
Some of our apps are made for families and may be used by children with a parent. Those apps do not require accounts, do not show third-party advertising, and do not collect personal information from children. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements where they apply.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with service providers that help us run the apps (for example, a hosting provider or a crash-reporting service), who are bound to use it only for that purpose, or when the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you by emailing hello@timotty.com; we will confirm within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will not treat you differently for doing so.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for app users, mention the change in the app.
